Understand local media storage
Project metadata and media files are stored separately to keep editing responsive.
Step by step
- Keep original media in a named project folder.
- Use workspace backup for project metadata.
- Avoid clearing this browser’s site data while working.
- If a source is missing, locate the original before continuing.
Good to know
A workspace JSON backup does not bundle media. Preserve both the metadata and original files.
